The Fondation founders, Ernst and Hildy Beyeler had a clear vision: the Fondation Beyeler should be an open, active museum that inspires an appreciation for art in a wide audience. A museum that promotes both cultural education and interpersonal encounters.
IN HARMONY WITH NATURE AND ART
The Fondation Beyeler is considered one of the world's most beautiful museums. Its location in the middle of Berower Park, with its old trees, water lily pond and its views of cornfields, grazing cows, vineyards, and the foothills of the Black Forest, is unique. The building was designed by Renzo Piano and is elegantly integrated into this cultural landscape in an ideal combination of nature, art, and architecture.

art.set is a convergence of electronic music and art, ephemeral sounds and timeless masterpieces. In the Fondation Beyeler, they blend into a multisensory experience that captivates music lovers and painting enthusiasts alike, blurring the boundaries between music videos and film concerts.

In collaboration with Nordstern, Frank Wiedemann (known from the music duo " me") performs music inspired by the Wolfgang Tillmans exhibition at Fondation Beyeler.

The Basel nightclub Nordstern, in collaboration with Fondation Beyeler, presents the debut of Seth Troxler and Phil Moffa's new live project "Lost Souls Of Saturn".

The legendary DJ and producer Acid Pauli performs an exclusive set at Fondation Beyeler. The BeyelerLiveSet is a collaboration between the renowned club Nordstern and Fondation Beyeler. art.set w/ Frank Wiedemann x Mathew Jonson For the exclusive art.set, musicians Frank Wiedemann and Mathew Jonson provide soundtracks to the works of Claude Monet and Tacita Dean. Dixon x Transmoderna
Fondation Beyeler & Nordstern Basel present the latest art.set: Dixon x Transmoderna. For this unique virtual DJ set, the artworks and architecture of the iconic museum building have been interpolated with the music using Artificial Intelligence. In collaboration with Beatport & Denon DJ.
art.set w/ Adriatique
In this "art.set," two special duos come together: the atmospheric electro-sounds of "Adriatique" meet the iconic figures of the sculptures "The Thinker" and "Ptolemy III" from the recent exhibition "Rodin/Arp" at Fondation Beyeler. Produced in collaboration with Nordstern Basel and Arte Concert.
